Theme Concept

Our design concept comes from the shadows mapped out by paper cutting. Light shines on the cut-out patterns of the paper cuttings, creating many interesting shadows. With different refraction of light, the shape of the shadow changes accordingly, just like the different stages of a person’s life.

Collection

Design 1

The first set of women’s clothing is a shirt and a pair of bell-bottom trousers. The shirt and the hem of trousers have a large black chiffon area and embroidery pattern. The pattern reflects on the body when exposed to light, echoing the theme of the collection – reflections. The sleeves and legs are flared for adding elegance to the outfit.

Design 2

Menswear is mainly casual, with a hooded jacket paired with straight cut trousers. The hood, the back of the jacket and the knees are cut-out with black chiffon. Not only does it echo the cut-out feature of Chinese paper cutting, it also echoes the theme of the collection – reflection.

Design 3

Fake two-piece A-shape dress with stand collar, the cut-out chest area echoing the cut-out area of the Chinese paper cutting. The sleeves are slightly flared. The overall design is elegant and demure, with black chiffon on the chest and sleeves echoing the theme – reflection.
