“BY YOUR SIDE” is a digital fashion capstone project featuring a new collection of bicycle accessories with 4 products: handle cover, bicycle saddle, down tube cover

and a two-way bag.

The bicycle community around the world is large and been generating millions of revenue. Riding bicycle can provide multiple benefits including personal health, economic and environmental benefits. Meanwhile it also be defined as a fashion accessory, a way to express one’s personal style and the demand is huge. The target market of this collection includes bike owner and rental or share bike users. This collection is addressing the pain points of difficulty in locating one’s bike, lack of decorative accessories in current market and hygiene concerns of shared bikes.

Bicycle handle cover: Designed to address hygiene concerns by providing protective barrier. Machine washable, reusable and environmentally friendly.

Saddle: Mix of function and fashion: can be mix and match to create personalized look. Durable and easy to clean, good choice for gifting.

Down tube cover: Highlighting the bicycle from the side view for easier identification of one’s bike.

Two-way bag: Different sizes are available, can be used as a stand alone flat carry bag.

A mobile app is developed for easy customization of the above products. They can explore the catalog with detailed description and design their own in an interactive way. Through mixing and matching, they can build products with personal style. This app also acts as a channel for STOLL to promote products.
