Wuxia is a popular element unique to Chinese culture and carries the Chinese people’s pursuit of justice and morality. In numerous literary, movie and television works, there are many descriptions of swords and fists, and even intense fight scenes, all serving to highlight the bravery of heroes. A Wuxia warrior is a chivalrous warrior. They are not just rough men who only know how to handle swords; they are spirited , with justice shining as bright as the sun and moon in their hearts. Although their conduct may not always conform to the law, what is indisputable is that they are all righteous warriors who uphold justice.
Compared to the tough martial arts culture, silk expresses the “soft” side of Chinese culture. The luxurious, soft, smooth and elegant silk serves not only as clothing, but also an significant medium for culture before the invention of paper, which is easy to bend but hard to break.
The design is inspired by a glamorous cheongsam with symmetrical print and the drapery hem of Hanfu. blending with the Western-style of little black dress.
