The collaboration between SWC was truly an innovative, cross-industry one. Students applied the skills they acquired in class and apply it in an industry beyond fashion. They were challenged to study a profession they were not familiar with and came up with innovative campaigns to rebrand and promote it. Focusing on 3 main categories which are “Education”, “Easy Octopus Payment” and “Smart Scale”, students researched, brainstormed and produced promotional videos to effectively convey related messages to SWC’s target customers. Students not only get the chance to practiced the i-media and i-connection skills they’ve learnt but also were introduced to how real-world businesses are merging environmental sustainability and social responsibility into their business. This gave them a taste of how other businesses work and an opportunity to be inspired of how their potential and ability can serve the world beyond fashion.
